Marula Cafe
Great event venue in the Center. They usually have live music from 10 to 12, and then DJ until 6 am. The music is mostly funk, soul, hip-hop, Latin. The best evening for live music is Wednesday for their funk Jam. Thursdays are also great, and Sundays are the Latin jam (my personal favourite because I’m a salsa fan
Salvadiscos - DJ & Vinyl cooperation
Very small cooperation in Poblesec that’s packed with vinyls and organises nice events with DJs from a variety of styles!
**El bombón - Latino Bar**
Entering this place makes you travel to colombia directly. Great place to go listen to salsa music in a latino vibe. It's small, it's authentic, and it gets packed from a certain hour. (If you can't get in, try to use the restaurant door on the right and pretend you're gonna eat, then you can just walkin the club from the inside :))
**Machete - Latino Club**
Same owners as the Bombón and in the same block. This one is a street food latino restaurant, but there's a hidden club inside. Just go at the end of the restaurant and open the green door. You'll get in a proper club with a really cool vibe and latino music : from salsa to reggaeton. It's bigger and more "clubbish" than the Bombon. If one is full, I would go to the other one and the other way around 😂
Bar Raim (Gracia)
Enter this bar and travel directly to Cuba, this place looks like it hasn’t changed in 50 years, filled with pictures of Cuban musicians and old Cuban music is the only thing you’ll here. Try their selection of rhums or some “tamales” (if you’re lucky). Great for a 1:1 date or a drink with friends. Very quiet in the week time and very busy on weekends.
**Paradiso - Cocktail bar**
This one is a speakeasy cocktail bar. It looks like a small restaurant from the outside but just go up to the person and say you want to get in the bar. They'll make you go through the fridge door. This place is small and usually busy (quite touristic), if you want to get a spot try to arrive early. They might make you wait on the outdoor terrasse and ask you if you want something to drink, but I'd suggest to wait to get in to get the full cocktail experience : each cocktail is an experience on it's own, they are amazing. The inside is stylish, cool music, but it's only a "sitting down" type of place.
**Creps al Born - Cocktail bar**
Crep restaurant by day (apparently), really cool cocktail bar by night. It's small but really chill vibe, great music, amazing cocktail. And the staff is supper friendly. It's an easy go-to place for a good cocktail and good vibe. Like everywhere in Barcelona, it can get impossible to get in past a certain hour.
